I want to let you all know about a fantastic business that one of my amazing musician friends has started.  Amber Hanlon is a music educator originally from North Carolina.  She taught middle school chorus in Chapel Hill for many years before moving to Washington, D.C., where she started Meadowlark Music.  It has really taken off and now she is bringing her business to the Durham/Chapel Hill/Carrboro area.

I received this from one of my amazing students yesterday. She started lessons with me the summer before 6th grade, and Friday she moves into her dorm at UNC. Of all the things I do as a musician, teaching is my true passion and the one thing I love the most. It's nice to be reminded of why I got into this in the first place :)
